We use Slit Seeders that cut slits in your lawn. These slits are 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep and do not destroy the existing grass you have in your lawn. Slit seeding is more successful in achieving germination because more soil is disturbed during the process which gives better 'seed to soil' contact, which is a major factor in getting good germination. Do We Guarantee Our Work? With proper watering, we guarantee 70% germination. Our best estimate is that the only way to come close to this guarantee with any other seeding technique is to roto-till. Roto-tilling will destroy the existing lawn. Is There Any Other Obligation When Taking Our Seeding? Our seeding is being offered exclusively to customers on our lawn care programs.
